QLED Technology

Samsung QN85Q950TSFXZA is a Quantum dot LED (QLED) TV which has a LED backlight LCD display with additional semiconductor nanocrystal layer that produces different colors of light depending on the size of the particle. Quantum dots are able to emit precise colored light because particle sizes adjust at quantum-level velocities, resulting in accurate and efficient light emissions. This results in more accurate color reproduction and can even achieve a full coverage of BT.2020 color gamut. besides color Quantum dots also offer high brightness which results in high contrast ratio. VA Panel

Samsung QN85Q950TSFXZA has a vertical alignment (VA) panel which is most commonly used in LCD TVs as it provides deeper blacks compared to the IPS panel. However, it is still limited with the viewing angle compared to the IPS panel or OLED display.

Full-Array Local Dimming

The TV has Full-Array Local Dimming technology with multiple zones throughout the display. HDR10+
