Sigma SD14 has a 2.5" screen with 150k dot resolution and Sigma SD15 has a 3.0" screen with 460k dot resolution. Both have Fixed screens.

Sigma SD14 can take pictures up to 2640 x 1760 resolution. It can also take pictures with lower resolution like 1776 x 1184, 1296 x 864 with 3:2 aspect ratios. Lens Mount

Cameras have Sigma SA lens mount. Due to their APS-C sensor their crop factor (also called lens multiplier) is equal to 1.7x. This means that a 35mm equivalent focal length of the mounted lens will be equal to its actual focal length times 1.7.

No Low-Pass Filter

There is no optical low-pass filter (OLPF), also known as an anti-aliasing filter, in front of the sensor on either of the cameras. This results in a slightly sharper image but may also introduce moiré patterns and aliasing artifacts when photographing subjects with fine, repetitive patterns or details.

Shutter

Sigma SD14 has Electronically controlled focal plane shutter. Shutter speed can go up to 1/4000 sec on Sigma SD14, and up to 1/4000 sec on Sigma SD15. Cameras can shoot continuously up to 3.0 fps.

Exposure

Exposure meterings of Sigma SD14 ranges from +1 to +20 EV and you can set the exposure compensation within the ±3 EV range. You can also do exposure bracketing and manual exposure adjustment on Sigma SD14 and and manual exposure adjustment on Sigma SD15.

Flash

Cameras have built-in flash. They also accept external flash which can be connected via Hot Shoe. The fastest flash synchronization speed is 1/180 sec on both cameras.
