Screen

Leica TL has a 3.7" screen with 1,230k dot resolution and Samsung NX5 has a 3.0" screen with 230k dot resolution. Both have Fixed screens. Leica TL is equipped with Maestro processor and can take pictures up to 4928 x 3264 resolution. It can also take pictures with lower resolution like 4272 x 2856, 3264 x 2160, 2144 x 1424, 1632 x 1080 with 3:2 aspect ratios. Samsung NX5 is equipped with DRIM Engine processor and can take pictures up to 4592 x 3056 resolution. It can also take pictures with lower resolution like 4592 x 2584, 3872 x 2592, 3872 x 2176, 3008 x 2000, 3008 x 1688, 1920 x 1280, 1920 x 1080, 1472 x 976 with 3:2, 16:9 aspect ratios.

Lens Mount

Leica TL has Leica TL lens mount and Samsung NX5 has Samsung NX lens mount. Due to their APS-C sensor their crop factor (also called lens multiplier) is equal to 1.5x. This means that a 35mm equivalent focal length of the mounted lens will be equal to its actual focal length times 1.5.

No Image Stabilization

The cameras do not have image stabilization. On Leica TL it means that you need lenses with optical image stabilization for vibration reduction. As for Samsung NX5 nothing can be done. Built-in Wi-Fi on Leica TL

Both models have USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/sec) inputs for data transfer. Leica TL has a Micro HDMI and Samsung NX5 has a Mini HDMI connector for video signal output.
