      Screen and Viewfinder

      Leica TL has a 3.7" Fixed screen with 1,230k dot resolution and Olympus OM-D E-M1 has a 3.0" Tilting screen with 1,037k dot resolution. Tilting screen makes Olympus OM-D E-M1 very useful for photography purposes but not so useful for video shooting. Both models feature touchscreen which has advantages such as easy menu navigation, intuitive controls, quick setting adjustment and most importantly a Touch-to-Focus functionality allowing users to select a specific point on the screen where they want the camera to focus.       Photography Features

      Leica TL is equipped with Maestro processor and can take pictures up to 4928 x 3264 resolution. It can also take pictures with lower resolution like 4272 x 2856, 3264 x 2160, 2144 x 1424, 1632 x 1080 with 3:2 aspect ratios. Olympus OM-D E-M1 is equipped with TruePIC VII processor and can take pictures up to 4608 x 3456 resolution.


      Lens Mount

      Leica TL has Leica TL lens mount and Olympus OM-D E-M1 has Micro Four Thirds lens mount.       Olympus OM-D E-M1 has a built-in 5-Axis Sensor Shift in-body image stabilization (IBIS).       Both models have USB 2.0 (480 Mbit/sec) inputs for data transfer. Leica TL has a Micro HDMI and Olympus OM-D E-M1 has a Micro HDMI connector for video signal output.
